What can Lebron James teach you about email marketing?

Actually, I don’t think Lebron even has an email list…or he hides it pretty well. But I’ll get to that soon!

Whether you like him or not, you gotta respect the man.

He’s been in the league for 15 years, and during that time he has consistently been a top performer.

Even now, at age 33, when most of the players at that age are starting to slow down, he still seems to be going up!

Not only that, but this season, he played all 82 games. If you are not really an NBA fan, only thing you need to know is that at his age and how long he has already been playing, this is an amazing feat. Most of the (a lot younger) players miss some games in the season because of injuries. Or they get some games off so they can rest and recover when the schedule is easier.

But not the king, he’s there, every game performing…

And trust me, no team wants to see Lebron on the other side against them.

But you know what’s the biggest reason of his success and longevity?

He treats his body like a temple.

He spends easily seven-figures a year on body care. It’s not an expense, it’s an investment and it’s paying off big time!

Now you’re wondering, what does that have to do with email marketing, right?

The health of your email list has the same impact on your email game as Lebron’s body has on his.

This includes:

  • Pruning it from old and inactive emails to keep it spam free – same way as Lebron recovers his body after games to keep it injury free
  • Adding new subscribers to keep your list growing – as Lebron adds new training regimes to keep his game developing
  • Constantly feeding your list with valuable content – like Lebron takes care of his diet and feeds his body with quality nutrition

And best of all, you don’t need to spend seven-figures per year like Lebron does to get good results! You don’t have to spend anything other than your time to do these things.

Happy weekend,
Zoran

P.S. If you’d rather invest some cash in your emails and have your time for yourself, I can help.
