So, I was scrolling through facebook and saw something interesting in one of the groups I’m in.
It was a post about a sign in the store that read like this:
“Plump, sweet and begging for cream”
No, it’s not what you think!
This was a sign above the strawberries in the store. Look:
Seeing how there were almost no strawberries there, I’d say the headline did a damn good job. Sex sells – confirmed!
But most of the group unleashed their wrath about that wording and how the copywriter should have known better. How he did not think about little kids seeing the sign.
Are they right about this?
What about the kids?
Honestly, if kids understand that sign as something sexual, they’ve seen a lot more than that sign. So again, why would the sign be bad?
It’s actually doing a lot more than just grabbing attention.
It polarizes the store’s customers. People who get it and find it funny will like going to that store a lot more. Because it also puts a smile on their face.
Happy people spend more!
And those who find something like that a big deal, they are not the kind of customers the store wants anyway.
So it’s a win-win situation.
Get your subscribers happy and make them spend more with my not so sexual, but still very sexy, methods. Let’s have a talk how I can help you – schedule a free 30min call here.
